How it's made: Peshtemals

 Producing peshtemal is an old and traditional process that passes along for the generations.


Firstly the spun comes with the shape of bobbins and loaded to the wooden fringes to be waived by villagers themselves.


Then woven peshtemal fabric goes through cutting process. Lengths will be cut by scissors in the hands of old turkish women's .




 And after cutting the lengths peshtemals delivered to neighbourhoods women to be loomed in hand, this process goes through hand work by Turkish old ladies rusty fingers. 


With their long past experience and their memories in their hands you will be essentially buying a friendship, a history, some memories, some hard work, an old women's smile, and her efforts. 


This tradition and manufacturing process will help her feed the family and will make her be proud of herself.








As a result you will carry the light, thin, and more absorbent towels with style. This hard work of our Turkish women will help you feel better on a holiday, you will know that you bought a history, a women's feelings, a tradition that comes from a long history with a little smile on an old lady's face.
